Unique Ways to Ask Someone to Prom!

prom-cookies-med.jpgProm is a very special occasion, so why not start it all off by getting creative? Girls and guys are asking their potential dates to prom in extremely unique ways:

• Have your teacher add a question to the end of a quiz that says Lisa, will you go to prom with Troy?
• Bake him a large cookie and ask him to prom with you in icing across the top.
• Buy a bunch of helium balloons and tie a piece of paper to the string of each balloon. On each paper write one word from the sentence Lisa, will you go to prom with me and then give her the balloons. She’ll have to put the question together.
• Sneak into her room (with her parent’s permission of course!) and decorate it a theme she loves. Somewhere in the decorations include an invitation to the prom.
• Write out your invitation in a foreign language and give it to him with a dictionary.
• Write the invitation outside her bedroom (in the snow, in the dirt, mow the lawn, use chalk, whatever you have to do!)
• Use a formal invitation (similar to a wedding invitation) with a reply card and envelope for her to send back to you.
• Cover her bedroom floor with Hershey kisses and leave a note saying Now that I’ve kissed the ground you walk on, will you go to prom with me?
• Insert a note inside of a balloon, blow it up, and hand it to him with a bunch of other balloons.
• Have the cheerleaders at a pep rally or game do a cheer or hold up letters to invite her.
• Send her some roses, or pizza, or take-out Chinese food and include a note asking her to prom.
• Place an ad in your school newspaper inviting him to prom.
• Call her favorite music station and make a song dedication asking her to prom.
