Emma Watson is taking the stage at her university, performing in several performances of Anton Chekhov’s The Three Sisters at Brown’s Production Workshop. I’m sure all the other actors are thrilled to work with Emma!
The Three Sisters is a play written by Russian author and playwright Anton Chekhov, perhaps partially inspired by the situation of the three Brontë sisters. Written in 1900, the play follows the decay of the privileged class in Russia and the search for meaning in the modern world. It describes the lives and aspirations of the Prozorov family, the three sisters (Olga, Masha, and Irina) and their brother Andrei. They are a family dissatisfied and frustrated.
Performances begin this week – from March 12th-15th. Free tickets are available starting today!

Awesome! I wish I could see it! I know Emma will be amazing in this play, she’s so talented. Chekov was a brilliant writer. I wonder what part Emma is playing?
