Book: Gemma Correll’s “What I Wore Today”

Have you ever noticed that when you have a good fashion day, your day seems to go a little more smoother? Or when you have a totally off day fashion wise, your day can go the same way? For example, you forget your sunglasses and then you miss the bus or your wear that lucky sweater and everything seems to go just right. Who knows why this is the case, but it just is!

Have you ever thought about journaling something other than your feelings? How about journaling what you wore and get a glimpse into what it means to just be you?

I am so excited to share with you a book that will help you do just that. It’s called “What I Wore Today” where you can Doodle Yourself Into a Style Icon by Gemma Correll. Gemma has quite the cult following with her illustrations and her blog “What I Wore in Pictures”. Instead of posting photos of herself, she invites followers to post drawings of what they are wearing. Check out some of the drawings on her Flickr group here.

What I Wore Today description:

Let your imagination run wild.  Use our little mannequin to sketch yourself and fill in the blanks about the day – its highs, its lows, and what you’ve been up to.  You can design your ideal fashion items, from shoes to umbrellas, so you can be as creative with your style as you like.  Use the additional wish list for your notes, pictures, cut-outs— stick in or write down whatever your heart desires.  No self-respecting girl should be without one!

Create a snapshot of your day and sum up your unique style in this brilliant book of doodles, scribbles and sketches.  Part sketchpad, part journal, this is a totally customizable record of how you like to dress, what you love to do and who you really are.

I took a few pictures from inside the pages of the book.

It’s such a cute and fun book and is perfect for you fashionistas out there. What I Wore Today will be available March 7th, but you can pre-order your copy today. Have fun with your fashion doodles!
