Disney Insider: Chat with the creators of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

ABC has done it again!  We are super excited about Thursdays on ABC because we LOVE fairytales and frankly Alice in Wonderland has always topped my list.  And those brainy folks over at ABC are premiering Once Upon a Time in Wonderland this Thursday at 8/7c.  And to get myself and all of the ModOration readers possibly more excited, wink wink, we are featuring a chatty interview between Disney Insider and the clever creators of my soon to be new favourite show.  And don’t forget to make it to the end of the interview where a teaser clip awaits from Thursday night’s premier.

Pictures of Alice from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

The Disney Insider: Why fairy tales on television?
Eddy: For us personally, they are the very first stories we heard on television and stayed with us. So Once Upon a Time was an idea Adam and I had about nine or ten years ago. When it came time for Wonderland, we had already showed you the Mad Hatter on OUAT and we explored a bit of his background. We revealed that the Evil Queen’s mom was the Queen of Hearts and we shared a little bit of Wonderland. But we had a lot of stories and ideas of Alice and we felt there was no room in what we refer to as the mothership. We were very fortunate that Paul Lee and everyone at ABC liked the idea and gave us the opportunity to create Wonderland.

Matt Damon hijacks Jimmy Kimmel Live! Watch clips here…LOL!

Last night Jimmy Kimmel’s arch nemesis, Oscar winner Matt Damon, exacted his revenge following a decade of torture by hijacking Kimmel’s late-night show and renaming it “Jimmy Kimmel Sucks.” LOL!!

Damon showed Kimmel how it’s done by packing his one-evening-only late-night turn with comedy and a cavalcade of A-list stars. On the heels of the ratings success of the episode, it will have a special primetime encore, TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 at 10:00 p.m., ET. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 1/24/13)

Damon replaced Kimmel’s longtime sidekick, Guillermo, with legendary actor Andy Garcia, his best childhood friend and bandleader, Cleto, with multi-Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, and packed his couch with such Hollywood notables as Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon and Demi Moore, plus special guest appearances by comedians Robin Williams and Sarah Silverman.

Even Ben Affleck stopped by to participate in the big night, though his allegiance was torn between childhood friend Damon and former paramour Kimmel.

Sabrina Bryan Had to Trap Herself in Her House to Keep a Secret!

Have you heard former Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan has snagged the last spot on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”? She has! How does one keep a secret like that and not tell anyone? You lock yourself in your house of course!

Sabrina found out the news on Friday, but couldn’t tell anyone until Monday. Torture! Pure torture!

Sabrina told the Daily News, “I trapped myself in my house because I didn’t want to go see any of my friends. I missed two different birthday parties on Saturday because I knew they would ask me and I wouldn’t be able to lie.

“Everyone was texting me like crazy starting Friday, like, ‘When do you find out?’ I kept going ‘I don’t know,’ because the big reveal was on ‘GMA.’ So I couldn’t really say anything and I was declining calls. I felt really bad.”

I’m pretty sure I would have to do the same thing!
