Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel

There’s a new episode of the Disney Channel series “Good Luck Charlie” airing today at 7:30pm ET/PT. The episode is titled “Doppel Date.” Here’s a description of the episode from the network:

When Spencer calls Teddy from college to tell her he is going on a date, she decides it’s time to move on from him. Meanwhile, Bob tries to trick Amy into loving the new couch he bought against her wishes, but the plan backfires when she loves it too much she stops taking care of the house. Also, PJ has a tough first day at cooking school when his teacher takes an instant dislike to him. 

Do you plan on watching the new episode? This is the final season of “Good Luck Charlie.” We’re going to be sad to see it go off the air!

The Wizards of Waverly Place Cast Will Reunite for TV Movie!

Disney Channel has announced some very exciting news about the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place. The show was a huge success, has won many awards and now the cast is getting ready to reunite!

That’s right, Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, David DeLuise and Gregg Sulkin will team up to make a Wizards of Waverly Place TV movie! The movie has already started production in Los Angeles and is set to premiere on Disney Channel early 2013.

Not only will Selena star in the movie, but she is also going to be an executive-producer!

Wizards of Waverly Place Movie Storyline:

The storyline takes the Russo family and friends to Tuscany, Italy, to meet their long lost relatives… but when Alex (Gomez) tries to prove she’s more than a seemingly carefree young Wizard, she inadvertently conjures a spell that creates a Good Alex and an Evil Alex. When Evil Alex gets roped into a charming young wizard’s foreboding plan to take over the world, Good Alex must find a way to save her family and humankind, which leads to a monumental battle between the two versions of herself – all atop the Tower of Pisa.

New Disney’s Friends for Change TV Spot Starring Ross Lynch & Laura Marano

A new TV spot on Disney Channel for Disney’s Friends for Change will start airing today! The interstitial features program ambassadors Ross Lynch and Laura Marano from the hit show “Austin & Ally”. (How cute are they in the picture above?!)

The stars have been working with a nonprofit organization TreePeople to connect kids with nature, inspire conservation and create green spaces at San Pedro Elementary School in Los Angeles.

Ross and Laura along with students and Disney VoluntEARS, helped plant 350 trees and educational gardens as part of Disney’s $100,000 grant to help green school campuses and provide over 20,000 students across Los Angeles with the knowledge they need to do the same in their environments.
