Gaga, Bieber, Rihanna & More Come Together for “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend”

Over 150 celebrities including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Britney Spears are coming together for the “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend” campaign, which helps those suffering from the drought crisis in East Africa.

There are currently over 10 million people who are without food, water and medicine due to the countries worst drought in decades.

The celebrities are showing their support through their social media. Rihanna tweeted, “Children need your help. Support the @SavetheChildren East Africa Appeal.”

Lady Gaga Video Premiere: “The Edge of Glory”

Lady Gaga‘s video for “The Edge of Glory,” the latest single off Born This Way, premiered during the latest So You Think You Can Dance? episode and is now available to view in the video clip below. Check it out!

“The Edge Of Glory,” the third official single spun off from the fastest-selling album of the year, debuted #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Gaga’s 10th consecutive Top 10. The track was written by Lady Gaga and produced by Gaga, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow. In its review, NME called the song “quite simply a Great Pop Moment.”

Lady Gaga to Kick Off GMA’s Summer Concert Series

In a “GMA” exclusive, Lady Gaga will perform several songs on “Good Morning America” to coincide with the release of her highly-anticipated album, “Born This Way.”

Lady Gaga’s performance will air live from 8:00-9:00 a.m., ET, Friday, May 27 at Central Park SummerStage (Rumsey Playfield).

Her third studio album, Born This Way, is scheduled for release on May 23, 2011. The first single from the album, title track “Born This Way”, set a music industry record by becoming the fastest single in history to reach sales of 1,000,000 copies (five days after its February 11th release). Only the 19th single to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (issue date February 26,2011), the recording was Lady Gaga’s third #1 on the chart. “Born This Way” was Gaga’s 7th single to hit #1 at Top 40.
